As the Chinese government bans mobile and lootbox games, many gamers are turning to board games. Chinese board game manufacturing is set to be 30% of global value by 2025:
But game creators in the US are also turning their games Chinese to cater to new audiences.
Some worry that China's infamous censorship could alter some US favorites, like Next War: Taiwan which covers politically sensitive topics.
US creators have bowed to Chinese pressure in the past. 'Chinese Steam', an adapted version of the Steam game platform was launched after approval by Beijing.
